Planning, Leading, Learning

  • Who: Middle and High School students
  • What: Help plan, organize and implement programs at the library for children and teens.
  • When: 2nd Tuesday 5-7 p.m.
  • Where: Elgin Public Library
  • Why: Meet new people, earn service hours, develop leadership skills and practice collaborating while serving your community! 

NEW SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES:

  • October 23, 2021  Hogeye Festival:  Assist young children in art project and supervise play with blue blocks.  10:00 -1:00 
  • November 4, 2021  Dia de los Muertos city celebration:  Assist young children with Sugar Skull decorating and serving snacks.  4:00 - 8:00
  • November 9 TAG Meeting  Planting spring bulbs in the front flower beds.  5:00 - 6:30
  • November 30  Decorate the library for the holidays.  Set up Christmas tree with ornaments. 4:30 - 6:30
