Elgin Public Library

Library closed August 30th-September 3rd for renovation and maintenance

We apologize for the inconvenience, but the Elgin Public Library will be closed the week of Tuesday August 30th through Saturday September 3rd for maintenance and renovations. The Wi-Fi will still be available outside of the library and patrons can access eBooks and Audiobooks via the SimplyE and Libby App. The TexShare Databases are also a great eResource for academic research. Visit us at: https://www.elgintexas.gov/240/Public-Library If you are in need of a computer, our neighbor libraries, Bastrop Public Library and Taylor Public Library are happy to help out during your time of need. You do not need a library card to access their computers, just request a guest pass at their front desks. Taylor Public Library has a 4 hour computer limit and computers shut down 30 minutes before closing. Bastrop Public Library has a 2 hour computer limit, but you can extend time as needed as long as others are not waiting. Bastrop computers shut down 10 minutes before closing. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience, but we will see you with a NEW LOOK after the Labor Day weekend.
