For Grades 3-6 Our annual Bluebonnet Book Club will kick off on Wednesday, September 12 with a "BOOK TASTING" in the Civic Center at 2:00. Interested readers are invited to stop by and "SAMPLE" the 20 books that have been nominated. They can then vote on four books for a more in-depth experience. Follow up meetings will be held on September 26, October 10, November 7 and 14. Each follow up will focus on one of the nominated books and will include reading excerpts, discussions, activities and refreshments. Participants will receive a log to chart their progress and opinions of the books they're read. Reading 5 of 20 books quality readers to vote for the winning book in the state-wide election in January. Results of the voting will be announced in February.
